    exactly.I will not try to serialize cmsobject ,but create a service interface,the service skeleton whic is in the same application context as opencms will access CMSObject and fullfill its functions

Hey Jim,

through RMI you will reach the problem that most of the objects
especially the CmsObject are not serializable. So a lot of recoding
has to be done.

Otherwise, you have to create your own objects to make the accessible
through RMI.
