[opencms-dev] /opencms/opencms does not show the logo icon (u.r. corner)

How come that the logo icon does not appear after opencms.war is installed
in tomcat? First I thought it is a matter of my redirection but
now I see that it doesn't appear in the stock installation either.

How can I debug tomcat requests. I see no trace of the missing resource
in apache logs, which shouldn anyway, I think, since the resources
are served by tomcat, don't they?
