[opencms-dev] why do I get two messages back each time I post?

Indeed, I noticed with the doubly received messages, that
the  To: field looked like:

  "To: The OpenCms mailing list <opencms-dev at opencms.org>,
        The OpenCms mailing list <opencms-dev at opencms.org>"

A bit unusual.
