[opencms-dev] Opencms - Apache and Tomcat integration issue

Hi,
 
We are in the process of implementing opencms as a solution for Corporate
website. We are facing issues in integrating Apache and Tomcat. 
 
The issue is as follows:
 
Apache is used for authenticating users visiting the website (Basic
authentication against LDAP), our application logic requires to use
getRemoteUser() to get the loginid/user name of the authenticated user. For
some reason we are getting "null" as value, could you help us in solving this
issue.
