[opencms-dev] How to get the workplace locale

Hi,

I am currently implementing a module for version 6 and cannot figure out how
to get the locale from the workplace. It seems that
cms.getRequestContext().getLocale() returns English locale all the time. 

Would someone be able to advice me, what is the correct way to get the
workplace locale?
