The first thing I'd do would be to look at opencms.log.  This file is at
<opencms webapp folder>/WEB-INF/logs/opencms.log.

Xp Pro, JDK 5.0 update 6, OpenCms 5, MySql 5, Tomcat 5.0 It took about 4
hours to figure out how to setup OpenCms (not too many detailed docs out
there) and finally made it through the wizard with no errors.
But at the end of the main setup the index.jsp pops up empty, blank page (IE
and Firefox) so now I'm dead in the water. any insight appreciated
