[opencms-dev] New with OpenCMS

The weird thing is search works from "Search Index Management" section in
administration, but not from the sample pages (including templateOne
sample) that are included with 6.0.4. We don't have any dynamic content,
just the plain openCMS pages.

The search indices are a mystery for me -- it seems to work for some,
and not for others. I eventually got my search working by hacking code
-- not an ideal solution. Anyway, it turns out that the projects I'm
working on have so much dynamic content that the OpenCms search is no
good (as far as I can tell it will only index static content), so I'm
going to be using external tools like MnoGoSearch which 'spider'
content via HTTP requests.

Joe.

Again, search does not retrieve any results even after updating the index.

can retrieve the results, but it does not retrieve any matches from the
published site or sample pages.
