[opencms-dev] how to use CmsJspTagEditable ?

Am I wrong in thinking that CmsJspTagEditable allows us to generate  
edit/delete/new buttons for editing xml content?

I've been poking around the method includeDirectEditElement, as it  
feels like it might do just that... but I'm not at all sure if I'm  
using it correctly.
