[opencms-dev] Where is the best place to make a site?

/sites/default is the suggested location for a single-site setup
even if you have more than 1 site it's good to have them in the /sites/ folder

You cannot remove the "/" site. It is needed because only with this pseudo-site you can change the files that opencms itself uses.
