I have a problem with opencms installation. Everything is fine until step 8(importing modules) of the installation wizard. The wizard hangs and tomcat console shows some exceptions. Could anybody who has some experience with this problem help me? I have tried everything i found in this mailing list archive without success. I have spent a week trying to solve this problem and i already don't know what to do. Please help.
i'm using:
opencms 6.2.1
tomcat 5.5.17
mysql 5.0.22
jdk 1.5.0_06
Windows XP SP2
Importing modules everytime hangs somewhere around 1300th line. When i choose not to create databases and tables, step 8 hangs little bit later.
In step 2(component tests) of the installation wizard everything is successfully passed.
Next step I have root with passwd in setup connection,
a ocuser with passwd which has granted all permissions in OpenCMs Connection
jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/ in Connection String
opencms in database
--everything around databases is successfully created or droped
In step 6 I keep all the modules checked to import.
Step 7: http://localhost in Alkacon OpenCms site URL
OpenCmsServer is name of the server
