[opencms-dev] Set a property (the locale) whithin a template

Hello,

I want to set the locale property within my template. For example if a user 
enters index.html?lang=de the locale property should be set to "de". I know 
about the option index.html?__locale=de but this is not an option for me, 
because it is too complicated to recognize.

How can I set a property within my template?
