[opencms-dev] Auto image downscaling in upload-applet?

Hi, I am using Opencms 6.2.2

The people on my company do not know much about image-editing, they 
mostly plug in there Digital Camera and directly upload the images to 
opencms.

That takes very long, after the upload, I scale the images down inside 
of opencms.

Is it possible to add the "down-scale-feature" directly to the 
upload-applet? This way the the images are scaled BEFORE they are send 
to opencms.
