[opencms-dev] Why publish?

If you're 'in' the offline project, then you should be able to see [the
results of] all files in the offline project, including styles.css. But I
have run across problems with Internet Explorer caching dependent
stylesheets and not retrieving up-to-date copies even when it does so for
referring files (like your index.html) - so that may be what's going on for
you.

ah ok
I thought I can browse the whole site in offline mode too. but it seems only
to be a view of the current edited file.
for example: if I change style.css and index.html when I view index.html I
can't see the changes in style.ccs until I published style.css Is this
correct?
