Hi,

We have recently had (let charitably call them people) trying to send spam
via a fill-in form on our website. It doesn't get very far as the actual
form is driven by a back-end java parser and it strips off any html before
sending the request to a hard-coded internal address but it's nevertheless
an annoyance.

Is there any way that people can think of of checking the user agent of the
browser from within the java that does the form-to-mail? I'm not a java
programmer particularly but I can follow instructions :-)

Cheers,

Phil.
