[opencms-dev] OpenCms writes in the webapp directory considered a major problem

Thanks for your hint, Joe. My suggestion is clearly a wish and not a 
bug. I do not want to misuse bugzilla for this sort of stuff. I thought 
I could find others who are interested in such a thing, discuss it and 
maybe start implementing something which could find its way into the 
Alkacon CVS some day.

I noticed as well that many threads seep away without catching anybody's 
interest here. That's a bit disappointing but I have come to the opinion 
that most poeple here seem to be developers with concrete problems and 
without interest or time to discuss less concrete problems. Alkacon on 
the other hand seems to be too busy with consulting. They are very 
quiet. I wish they would care a litte more and moderate such discussions.

Nevertheless, I am not unhappy with how the Wiki is evolving. It is less 
volatile than the mailing list and the forum, and that's why I put my 
suggestions there.
