[opencms-dev] Jakarta POI (Apache POI) (a bit OT)

Anyone familar with POI? I just tried out an example from 
http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/saternos_broadcast.html
to generate a .xls (MS EXCEL Spreadsheet file) from a database table.

I would like to embed some graphics into the spreadsheet. 
I'm just asking here if anyone is familar with POI.
