[opencms-dev] difference between publishing "/" and publishing "/sites/default"????

Hi,
       I am not able to explore all the features of OpenCMS. How do I test
the editing feature of OpenCMS? Apart from "Admin" are there any other users
like the "Editors"  who can only do editing stuff? I have been using another
CMs tool named "OpenEdit" which gives me all that I want expect that there
isnt any database involved. Can you pleas ehlep me explore the features of
"OpenCMS' as compared to "OpenEdit".

*P.S: I have posted this question earlier too. Does anyone receive any tech
support replies from OpenCMS?? just to ensure.*
