[opencms-dev] Regarding openCMS workflow

Alexander Kandzior's post re OpenCms 7 describes the workflow features
planned for that version, and they look good.  More also at www.opencms.org.

Sadly, this is not possible. Currently, the "workflow" view is only a task
assignment application that has no connection with any other information
that is maintained in opencms

information in the manifest.xml?

No, I don't think so. You would have to dig into the workflow classes and
possibly workflow tables. 
It seems to be planned to re-write the workflow component of opencms, but I
don't know what is planned. At present, the workflow is not really
integrated with anything.
