[opencms-dev] Open CMS and WebLogic

Hi Thomas,

in order to function properly, OpenCms requires write access to the 
exploded WAR directory.

Unless this behaviour is changed in a future release it will not be 
possible to deploy OpenCms as a WAR file. This is not an issue with 
WebLogic, it is a general problem with all servlet containers.

Last year I started a thread about this ( 
http://www.nabble.com/forum/ViewPost.jtp?post=7130830&framed=y) but 
there was no response from the core team.
