if it comes from OpenCms, the 404 message is correct. There is no 
directory /opencms in the Virtual File System. I assume you deployed the 
application in webapps/ROOT, right? If so, the correct URL is 
http://localhost:8080/opencms/system/login.

One occurrence of "/opencms" is always necessary in OpenCms URLs unless 
the servlet-mapping in web.xml is changed. A second one is only 
necessary if you deployed OpenCms under webapps/opencms.
