[opencms-dev] (NEWBIE!) display a HTML page

Hi there,

this is my first step into CMS so apologize for any stupid questions!

On /sites/default I did create a new folder and the appropriate
index.htmlfile. Now when I click on that to display it then following
error occurs:

javax.servlet.jsp.JspException:
org.opencms.file.CmsVfsResourceNotFoundException: Error reading resource
from path "/modules/news/".
Reason: Error reading resource from path "/modules/news/".
Reason: Unable to read resource "/modules/news".

Why?
