[opencms-dev] restricting search with org.opencms.search.CmsSearch.setSearchRoot - should this method work?

Hi all,

 

I am trying to build a search page which restricts the search to one folder
and noticed that there is method  org.opencms.search.CmsSearch.setSearchRoot
in order to achieve this. 

 

However, after setting the method nothing seems to change and I still get
results also from the site root. Can anyone confirm if this method should
work?
