[opencms-dev] static publication for a multi-lingual website - translation of URLs

Hello,

 

I have the following question regarding the use of static publication
for a multi-lingual website.

 

Suppose the site is available both in English and French.

Consider the page Summary in the History section.

 

1.       Is it possible to use static publication in such a way that the
whole URL is translated per language such as in the following example:

 

EN: www.company.com/history/summary.html

FR: www.company.be/histoire/sommaire.html

 

This is important for search engine optimization reasons.

 

2.       Second question: how is the relation between the FR en EN
version of the same page managed by the authors ?
