If you haven't found it already, there is an upgrade wizard.

Subject: [opencms-dev] how to upgrade existing opencms data to 7.0.4?

Hi,

I am having website on 7.0.3. Using MySQL 5. Already lot of data is
there in database (VFS). Configured opencms-module.xml file to created
XML content.

Now my question is how I can upgrade to 7.0.4 without loosing current
data (VFS) and configurations i had done in different xml files?

Bye,

Viki.
