[opencms-dev] error configuring mysql driver during opencms install

            Hi :
 
 
            I hope you can help me, when i try to install opencms i get
the next message error “Error to connect using the given parameters,
opencms recommend the dirver mysql-connector-5.0.8.bin.jar .....”
 
 
            I cant fix it, i can access mysql easily from the shell just
by typing mysql, the parameters wich i provide to the installer are
jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306 and the user and password for connecting,
i´ve been testing the user and password and are ok.
 
 
            I´m installing opencms on a mandriva 07 spring linux
installation with tomcat 6, i build mysql and the directory where i
built mysql is /usr/local/mysql, i dont know wether it may cause some
problem, the mysql driver suggested is located inside the directory
$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/opencms/WEB-INF/lib so i think i dont have any
problem about it unless i required another driver. ¿ could you give me
some hint ?.
