[opencms-dev] Turning of validation in xml contents

Hi,

Is it possible to turn of validation in XML content types?  For example I 
want to use the OpenCmsVfsFile type so that I can put both 
internal and external links in without it stopping me saving the file.

I could just change it to a string and use the widget for layout but then 
it wouldn't update the internal links if they are moved.
