[opencms-dev] Users management: Parent group and roles

Hi,

I just noticed something weird with "parent groups": if group B has A as parent (A could be "Users"), then if you give group B to a user, he will automatically get group A as well. So far so good.
But he won't get A roles ! ("workplace user", for "Users" group, for instance)

That might be understandable, but the very bad thing is: to get A roles, you will need to explicitely affect group A to the user... which you can't. The user already has group A automatically affected, so you can't remove it and re-affect it.

I had to remove group A ("Users") from B parent group, and always manually affect it to my users.

Should'nt "group dependancy" also inherit roles?

Thanks

Olivier
