[opencms-dev] Static export and mod_jk, getting rid of the "export" in the URL

Hello everyone,

I installed opencms on a local test-system with tomcat, apache2 with mod_jk
following the instructions on:
http://www.opencms-forum.de/opencms-forum/viewthread?thread=713&offset=0

So far it's working quite nicely. The pages are beeing exported to the
directory "export" in my tomcat-folder.
I can access the static files e.g. via http://localhost/export/index.html.
As I understand it is supposed to work
like this, having the "export" in the URL to distinguish static from dynamic
pages.

I eliminated the part "sites/mysite" from the URL by setting the property
"exportname" to "/" on the folder sites/mysites.
Now my question is, how to configure the whole thing and ELIMINATE the
"EXPORT" from the URL as well.

I've seen pages using OpenCms which have the "export" in their URL:
http://www.alice-dsl.de/kundencenter/export/de/residential/index.html
and others which don't : http://www.bonduelle.de and
http://www.erzbistum-koeln.de
so I assume it must be possible, but I couldn't find a solution in the wiki
or the different Forums.

Any hints are much appreciated.
Many greetings
Marc
