[opencms-dev] User/Group with no publish permission

Hi,

In OpenCms 7.0.5, I want to create a group which will have Only Read,
View & Write permissions, on a particular VFS folder

To achieve this I created a Group (EditorGroup) & added one User
(Editor1) in it.

EditorGroup does not have any parent group.

Editor1 is assigned "Workplace User" role (due to this, "Users" group
also gets added automatically to Editor1 group list)

I went to specific VFS location, right clicked & selected 'permissions'
from the context menu.

In the "Change permissions" window, I added the name of the group
(EditorGroup) & set following permissions

Allowed - Read, View, Write

Denied - Direct Publish, Control

Checked - Overwrite inherited, Inherit on subfolders

Even after denying "Direct Publish" to Editor1, it is able to direct
publish on this VFS folder.

Am I missing any step or anything not done correctly?

Regards,

Dipak
