[opencms-dev] server is not reacting after a time of inactivity

I had the same issue (not reacting after a time of inactivity) last year:

Christian's suggestion that this inactivity problem is similar to my
current issue (of SQL errors) is quite plausible as I was also getting
SQL errors then.

So firstly, I would suggest doing as Christian suggested in the
previous digest and look at activating the eviction thread.

If all else fails, you could create a thread that periodically
requests a page from your server. Not a great solution, but something
that that worked for me last year.
