[opencms-dev] lucene search

Hi all,

 

 i have a structure content, with witch i manage my "database" of entity,
all in opencms not in a relational database. That said, for searching
purpose I need search over numbers or date (always numbers of course), but
opencms doesn't provide number type in xsd definition, and OpenCmsDateTime
is not indexed. 

I've also find that with date can be possible to make a range query on text
like [01012009 TO 12052009], it is right?

In terms of performance how is reliable?

There is any other smart solution?
