Yes, I did.

Mh I saw something else that could be wrong. In the error message is a line
saying:
"java.sql.SQLException: Access denied for user 'root'@'APPSERVER1' (using
password: YES) at"...

Why is it using appserver1 and not dbserver1 (to which the IP belongs)?
Maybe that is the problem?
