[opencms-dev] Can different installations of OpenCms connect to the same db schema?

Hi Shency,

for development you don't need apache. It is not needed for multi site support. But if you use apache then you have to configure it right 
for working with OpenCms static export.

For production apache in front of tomcat is recommended. The reasons are given here:
