[opencms-dev] Apache httpd in front of Tomcat in 2010, yes or no?

Hi Christian,

I found urlrewrite being a nice tomcat-counterpart for mod_rewrite :-)

The tomcat http-connector has support for compression as well:
http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/config/http.html
