[opencms-dev] Problems with log4j for debugging DatabaseProblems

Hi,

yes, the setup.log exists. And I changed the value log4j.appender.CONSOLE= 
like in your example, without any changes. Maybe the problem is a part of 
the used Webspehere Application Server. Unfortunately I am not into that.

Hi Patrick,

Have you got a WEB-INF/logs/setup.log logfile?

In my log4j.properties following settings differ from your settings:

opencms.logfile=opencms_init.log

...

log4j.appender.CONSOLE=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender
