[opencms-dev] OpenCMS performance tuning

Hi,

I have a Virtual production server running OpenCMS 6.0 on Tomcat with Apache, Linux and Oracle. The installation went fine but the problem is the Performance which is extremely slow.

I have perused some performance tuning actions available on http://opencms-wiki.org/Performance_Tuning_Example <http://opencms-wiki.org/Performance_Tuning_Example>  and elsewhere but it has helped very little.

Following is the information regarding the setup:

Tomcat: Versão 5.5
OpenCMS: OpenCms 6
Apache: 2.2.3
Linux: Debian 4.0
Java:  1.5
Oracle: Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.1.0.5.0 - 64bi

Can anyone please provide concrete steps on what to check and tune??
