Thank you for the answer, I was able to modify these files to get just the dialog I wanted. :-)
Agree totally that this should be customizable in some better way. This point becomes especially important when dealing with multisite setups.

As far as OpenCms 6.2.3, these were hard-coded in /system/workplace/commons/newresource.jsp. It's easy to find and modify, although more elegant solutions would be nice to be added to future versions. I hope this helps. Greetings,
