Hi,

In v8.0.1 you can override the default formatter for an article in the sitemap_config file which you create in a folder of choice. If you haven't already created this file, you can create this by selecting New -> Extended Folder ->  Sitemap Content folder which will create one for you. 

By default, all content types are turned on but you can override this by adding it to the sitemap_config file and disabling it.
