[opencms-dev] URL Rewrite

Hi!
  I am using OpenCMS 8 with an existing System of my company, we are using OpenCMS to generate Static pages and menu (for now we are thinking to move gradually to OpenCMS)), I have few questions

1. We are using Apache (mod_jk ) as front dispatcher, if I do url rewrite at apache's end is it going to be a problem?
2. If more than one instances of OpenCMS use same DB then will it create some problem?
