[opencms-dev] New OCEE versions for OpenCms available

Hi,
I want to ask what is the purpose for the below enhancement?

"Improved cluster event handling ensures that servers not marked as
workplace server or event source will never try to contact other servers."

Is there any problem now without the above enhancement? Because our server
support team doubts the OCEE is sending too much request to each other.

Subject: [opencms-dev] New OCEE versions for OpenCms available

Hi all,

if you run the Alkacon OCEE OpenCms Enterprise Extensions you might
appreciate the latest version 3.0.3.

It works with the new OpenCms 8.0.3 and includes a new delay mechanism
that has been added to the Cluster Manager for remote event processing
to reduce database load.

Improved cluster event handling ensures that servers not marked as
workplace server or event source will never try to contact other servers.

An updated OCEE 2.1.5 for OpenCms 7.x is available, too.

Peter.
