Hi Yves,  Yes, there is - depending on which version of tomcat you are 
using the syntax can be slightly different.  E.g., for tomcat6 see 
http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-6.0-doc/config/http.html -> maxThrreads  
For tomcat7 see http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-7.0-doc/config/http.html 
-> maxThreads   That is for tomcat - I do not know of a way to control 
the number specific to opencms or to a specific webapp.
