[opencms-dev] Some urgent premission issues with ADE

Hi all,

 

I was trying to set edit permissions on a specific part of site
("/en/events") in the vfs.

 

So removing edit rights for group "Users" on "/sites/default/" and
creating a new "Editor" group which has edit permissions for the events
folder worked fine so far, users of group "Editors" are able to edit
container_pages inside "/en/events" only.

 

Now, the problem is, that the user is neither able to add a new (empty)
container to the page nor edit exisiting containers of the page ("no
edit rights" on folder ".content" have been inherited from
"/sites/default/").

 

Seems quite buggy. Would assume the edit rights of the container_page
would be inherited on the containers which are included in the
container_page, so the user with appropriate rights would be able to
edit the content via ADE. (creating new containers still would be an
issue)

How else one would able to enable edit rights on a part of the site.

 

Is there any other possibility to limit access rights?
