[opencms-dev] TinyMCE vs FCKEditor - which is the future?

I would rather recommend updating to OpenCms 8 and just not using the ADE
features. By configuring the "old" direct edit provider, everything works in
OpenCms 8 quite like in OpenCms 7. Templates build with OpenCms 7 also work
"as usual" in 8, they just don't take advantage of ADE.

But if you really want this, porting back the TinyMCE stuff from OpenCms 8
should be straightforward, as the editor API was not changed from 7 to 8.

Best,

Alex.

Alexander,

I we want to collaborate and integrate the TinyMCE on OpenCms v7.5 (there is
a lot of user based still). Can you provide us with guidelines?

Regards
Hernan
