[opencms-dev] Cannot create files with two slashes in name --

When I try to create a file (container page) in OpenCms with a name that
has two consecutive slashes in it, OpenCms removes one of them.

i.e. test--123.html becomes test-123.html

Is that on purpose or any specific reason for that?

(OpenCms 8.5)
