[opencms-dev] Replace "select file" dialog with older version?

Hello everyone,

the gwt dialog for selecting files is making too much trouble for me in
8.5.2,
like missing files or not beeing able to view files without all files of the
subfolders.

Is it possible to replace it by the old version without gwt, which is still
beeing used in
some other cases?
