Hi Michael,

The OpenCMS workplace is a web application, you should not need an
installation for each user. Why not using one box as server and then allow
your users to access the workplace remotely from their PCs using their
browsers?

Cheers.

Asunto: [opencms-dev] openCMS 9 - two pc's, one oracle DB

Howdy all, newbie to the group, be gentle! - I searched the archives and
couldn't find this answered, so:

I want to have two pc's loaded up with openCMS 9 pointing to the same oracle
DB. I already have one box set up and working. My intention is not for the
two boxes to be open at the same time - but for a backup in case the one
person doesn't show up for work, then the other one can take over.

Is this possible?

If so, please describe in detail - or point me to a detailed description of
how to do the second install.

Thanks so much!
Michael Sorbera
