[opencms-dev] Upgrade from 6.2.3 to 9.0.1

Hi,

we are trying to upgrade from Version 6.2.3 to 9.0.1.

Up to now we tried to ways:

1.) Export Content and import in fresh install of 9.0.1.
The success was not the best: html pages, previously als type xmlpages are now type plain an greyed out.

2.) Upgrade from 6.2.3 to 9.0.1 with upgrade wizard - no success at all. DB Updates work, Step 3 of update gives Error 500…


Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Will it help to upgrade stepwise e.g. 6.2.3 -> 7 -> 8 -> 9.0.1 ?
