[opencms-dev] Java 7 has reached EOL when will opencms be certified for Java 8?

Hi,

Java 7 has had the last public update

https://www.java.com/en/download/faq/java_7.xml

For safety reasons it is wise to stop using it but OpenCMS is only tested
with Java 6 and 7.

I have seen various bug reports about this and that does not work with Java
8.

Has testing for compability with Java 8 been started?

When do you expect it to be officially tested with Java 8?
