[opencms-dev] OpenCms 10.0.1: long loading sitemap

Hi list,
in one of my OpenCms 10 installations, I have the problem, that the sitemap is loading for about 30 seconds until it is shown.
There are about 600 entries (navigation items) in this sitemap (spread over 5 navigation levels).
Can anyone confirm this long loading times?
Are there any solutions for severly decrease loading time?
Would it help to split the navigation into subsitemaps?
Other solutions?
