[opencms-dev] Static Paths disappear in Template [OpenCMS 10.5.1]

Hi all,

I have created a custom template with javascript references that look like
this:-

<script type="text/javascript" src="/static/scripts/charts.js" />
<script type="text/javascript" src="/static/scripts/map.js" />

I have created a static/scripts folder in my Tomcat webapps directory where
OpenCMS is also installed. However, when I do a static export, these lines
disappear from the exported template.

Can anyone explain why this is so?
